Early Reader Books with Dyslexic-Friendly Formats

http://www.acpl.lib.in.us/children/dyslexic-friendly.html
This list was compiled and submitted to the Allen County Public Library as an Eagle Scout project by Fort Wayne-area resident Scott Forsythe. It contains books within the ACPL system that have fonts and layouts suitable for beginning readers who struggle with dyslexia. The list is subject to change as new books become available.

The books in this list were selected according to the following criteria:
  • Clean, simple, consistent font
  • Consistent spacing
  • Clear, simple illustrations
  • Tinted text background
For more information on Scott's project and for more resources on dyslexia, including a free interactive IPad e-book, see DyslexicKids.net.
